3 Easy Steps to Ride TrainerRoad Workouts in Zwift
1. Connect Your Accounts
- In TrainerRoad, head to Account > Connections > Training Platforms to link Zwift.
- Agree to the terms and log in to Zwift.
- Voilà! You’ve just made a training dynamic duo.
Once connected, you’ll see a green border around the Zwift box in TrainerRoad. That’s it! You’re ready to ride.

2. Plan Your Workout Day
- Got a Plan? Any TrainerRoad workout on your calendar for today or tomorrow automatically appears in Zwift.
- No Plan? No Problem! You’ll still get a recommended daily workout from TrainerRoad, sent straight to Zwift.

3. Explore Watopia and Train Like a Pro
- Open Zwift and select your paired trainer.
- If it’s today’s workout, you’ll see it in the For You section. If it’s tomorrow’s, you’ll find it in Workouts > Custom > TrainerRoad.
- Hit “Start Workout” and let the sparks fly— with workouts tailored to you and your goals, plus the thrill of virtual roads and mountain climbs.

- Once you click End Ride, you’ll see a quick survey. This helps TrainerRoad understand how challenging the workout felt. Rate it from 1 (Easy) to 10 (All Out). You can always update your survey response later in TrainerRoad.

- TrainerRoad may send an email to let you know about adaptations based on your performance. You can accept the updated workouts or stick with your current plan—your call!
