That would probably be the very last thing I would ever put on my bike AFTER winning a million dollars, and probably still wouldn’t. I don’t want batteries on my bike that make it necessary to ride, they are heavy, easy to steal, and superfluous.
But that is just me.
Warranty?
The Transfer I have on my E29 has been pretty damn good. It is on it’s last legs, and I am going to replace it soon. But if it was under warranty, I would put another one back on.
The Transfer on my XC bike is barely used and sitting in a box, so no idea on reliability there
