I prefer the term ‘napping’ but whateves.
A good example of a VO2min session:

Nothing wrong with a lil bit of choking ya know
VO2max = drowning
VO2min = suffocating

Wth? As a Texas resident, I lose power for a few days and finally I can jump into TR forums after a week and all hell is breaking loose. I’m afraid to even click on the Dylan thread. I’m sure there is a meme somewhere in this but I’m too unskilled
Here was my swing at a meme on the craziness.
Listen to that fear. It’s trying to protect you.
Dont do it!! if you have the time, go back on this thread and laugh at all the great content… going to the DJ Thread will only expose you to all the hate in there…
I’ve got my Hoffman frame from 8th grade in the basement.
Dude! That’s great
I never owned one, but rode some that friends had, back when I was still riding.
Aw, man. MAMILs just can get no love. ![]()
(also, the rat might have a point about Finnegan’s Wake, but Joyce was a genius and rest of his books are f___ing treasures.
)
I couldn’t get more than a few pages into Finnegans Wake. I read Ulysses, but I’d be lying if I said I understood it fully. I like Portrait, I have to say, though it does have a ‘pretentious, moi?’ vibe to it; I’ve never quite sure how much of that is intentional (Joyce mocking his younger self) and how much is completely accidental. Dubliners is magnificent.
I’m always struck by D.H. Lawrence’s comment about Joyce (‘too terribly would-be and done-on-purpose’) which has the ring of truth about it. But then Lawrence was full of himself as well ![]()
for the people!
Are you okay, lad? Anyone who thinks Ulysses was “not great” isn’t quite the full shilling if you ask me. It is arguably the best damn novel of the 20th century.
Alright dorks, take it to another room! (Fellow dork here)
