It’s a good note, thanks. I ordered some stuff, in transit now. I’ve ordered smaller things from them and although I hate the carbon footprint of it, the shipping was insane-o fast and customer experience was great. In fact, during the pandemic they were the only place I could get ahold of road disc brake pads, and was grateful for that.
If you’re like me and just need a small home gym this adjustable kettlebell works great. I bought one maybe a year ago when it was on sale for $99. It swings in price wildly throughout the year up to $159. I wanted another so it popped up for $49 today. The handle shape is slightly narrow compared to a regular kettlebell but it doesn’t really cause me issues.

Killer deal!! Thanks!
Wow. I didn’t know I needed this, but it will help solve my floor space issues in the office that also serves as my weight room and “pain cave”. This is great - thanks!!
Just FYI - some folks who own this find it hard to use because it’s slippery and it’s uncomfortable on your arm. YMMV, but something to consider.
I don’t find the handle any more slippery than a standard kettlebell but I would think you could add some type of grip tape that’s not TOO grippy.
I’ll agree it’s a slightly odd shape compared to regular kettlebells but I feel the adjustability more than makes up for it.
If I was super serious about kettlebell workouts sure I would choose regular kettlebells. But I can do all the basic movements that I need. I have powerblock adjustable dumbbells as well so I love the adjustability features.
But obviously others may be more particular with their needs.
Dumb ? from a KB noob:
- Would you need 1 or 2 of those adjustable ones for beginner use?
Sure seems like a good deal on a clean solution.
Yeah, I hear you. It’s like everything else, it depends on the individual. I spent the money on Powerblocks too and I really don’t like them because how how they hit my hands. Unfortunately, you have to buy a lot of this stuff before you can try it. The kettlebells ARE available in some shops though, so if you can find them to try them before you buy, that’s best.
For ALMOST everything, 1 adjustable kettlebell is enough. The Dialed Health kettlebell routine doesn’t have a single exercise I can think of that requires more than one at a time (you DO need different weights for different things though, so that’s where the adjustable are awesome). The only things I don’t like are the slippery handles and when you do a clean and they hit your forearm (intentionally, like at :07 here: Single Kettlebell Clean - YouTube)
That one only goes up to 40lb. I’m not that strong and my most used kettlebells are Vulcan Strength 35lbs / 16kg and 44lbs / 20kg. Really good for swings. I’ll go to the gym for heavier ones.
That Bowflex adjustable only goes up to 40lb and I don’t see $50 anymore. Somewhat awkward shape as mentioned.
However I have 10/15/20lb dumbbells. And a couple cheap Amazon basics 15lb and 25lb bells for Turkish getups:
you can definitely do plenty with a single kettlebell. I’m only buying a second one since the sale is too good. But I’ve had just the single kettlebell for a year and it’s been great for me.
Yeah. The powerblock handles are a bit odd. I think for the type of workouts I do and the benefit of the adjustability I just deal with the limitations.
Yeah. Must have been a very limited time sale that I just happened to stumble upon
I’m a fan of adjustable dumbbells, but narrow grip space and ballistic kettlebell swings? Not a great combination. For doing swings, my Amazon Basics cast iron bells (pic above) are a little too narrow for my average sized hands. And the Amazon basics are smooth and not textured. So happy I bought two good training kettlebells. A few Bowflex adjustable reviews mention the narrow grip space as an issue.
The other thing about Amazon bells is you can get ones that have burrs. If you buy local, you can pick them up and feel the handles and seams for burrs.
I’ll agree it’s narrow but it’s never felt dangerous to me.
Yeah, this is the way I’ve gone with all my KB purchases. Sometimes you get lucky at second hand stores or on OfferUp, Amazon marketplace, etc. I have 2x8lb dumbbells, then 12, 16, and 24kg kettlebells. I find I need heavier KB weights for some things, but the lighter stuff is better for higher volume swings, single leg work, etc., so I have a little of everything.
As an aside, Turkish getups are the bane of my existence.
same. Thats why I bought a 15lb Amazon basics kb.
