Solar does nothing on these units but make the screen worse… Never once did my 1040 solar increase battery level after leaving out in the sun. Put one on a table in bright sun shine, leave it for hours, still same battery level.
Wasn’t it shown it never actually charges, solar just reduces battery drain?
