I’ve had sidis for two years to replace my Louis Garneau shoes but as the LG are that comfortable I’ve never replaced them. LG shoes seem to be quite small sized though going by online reviews, so I sized up and they are perfect. After 6 years or so my BoAs are loosing tension so maybe I will have to replace them
Edit: I just have I hope I’ve transferred the cleats correctly
I got these shoes setup today and they are awesome. I did a 2hr trainer ride and had no foot numbness, hot spots or discomfort at all. Changing shoes also seemed to eliminate the minor left knee discomfort I was getting on longer trainer rides. The way the boas are setup, lack of a tongue and wide toe box are a huge improvement over my s-works.
For normal shoes I normally wear a 10 US. I purchased 44.5 wide and set them up with the higher arch support on the insole and they fit perfect.
They were expensive, but worth every penny so far.
Torgo can i ask you what length your feet are?
I am coming from specialized shoes in many many years, latest the ares. Always been using size 43 which measures 27,5cm in specialized.
However the size 43,5 which measures 27,5cm in RC902 seemed to snug (initially in the store) So i got 44 instead… However, even though i love the fit in many ways, the heel seems sligthy loose. Atleast compared to what i am used to - From specialized. I wont say its sheel slippage as such, but there is defiantly some movement… Not sure its an issue. But its just diffrent to specialized!
However there is less movement overall in the shoe, compared to the ares. Not movement at all in the midfoot and forefoot area.
My feet measures 27cm. (26.9) The size 44 is 27.8cm… Maybe 9mm is too much?
Maybe i should go with the 43,5, and just hope they will stretch a bit with time? - Do they? What are your experinces?
My specialized shoes I where for commuting (they were my good shoes) are a 43 and fit good with what feels like ample space but not too much (I had 44 spesh before, my first road shoes, and they were too loose the exact same as your experience). My sidis are 43.5 and whilst they fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable there absolutely no room at my feets widest part. If you have a sore there (as I did during chemotherapy often) you can initially feel the ouch when you put them on. Strangely you don’t feel it when you are actually cycling but I think 44 in Sidis would be ideal for me, if I ever replace them. My retired LG were 44’s and they probably were the most comfortable shoes I had ever. If you go Italian based on my small sample I would suggest going a size up on Spesh.
