How big is your .... screen

I have a 65" OLED TV. But my bike is about 10 feet from the tv in our movie/wo room. I want a 77 tho

Pay more attention to resolution, take UHD, that’s for sure. Zwift, Cadesport, GTA V bike mod are all UHD. Screen size depends on your distance from TV, Google got that.

I use my phone…who cares about resolution for looking at blue blocks! - I have a nice OLED in the living room for films/TV watching but TR I just concentrate on the pain. That said if I used Zwift…

I have a 65inch 4k screen on the wall about 2 feet in front of my bike. I don’t think it’s too big.

I agree, I was worried that the 55 inch I bought was going to be too big. It’s placed about 1m from the front of the bike and it’s awesome for movies and TV (and F1, my current favourite riding entertainment). I’m very happy and could even go bigger.

LOVE F1 while riding…“unfortunately”, my middle daughter has caught the F1 bug, too…so now I watch all the races with her and I no longer get to watch them while riding! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

But I’ll gladly sacrifice that to spend time with her!

I’ve got a 40” TV. It’s about 4-5 feet information of my handlebars on a table that is about 1 foot lower than my bars.

I run TR on the desk with the phone or iPad and have entertainment on the screen.

Get the F1 app and go back a few years and start watching. I’m half way 2018 at the moment.

I use an old 55" TV for the trainer, and find it to be more than big enough, but it is all about the distance you are from the display. I suspect mine is a little lower than most which is intentional to ease any strain on my neck ( have had surgery on C3 thru C6, laminoplasty and foraminotomy). I use an iPad to run TR.

Something that I think people should consider is whether you are centered on your display, this is important if you are going to spend long hours with your neck turned in any direction that does not load the muscles in a neutral/symmetrical manner. Unless you want to end up with a neck like mine

Love the mood lighting

Yeah, I’ve got it…I’ve seen most everything form 2018-now, though.

LOVE the app, too.

27 inch 144hz gaming monitor. So easy on the eyes. Zwift flows like butter on screen.

Same as me. Pic posted above. I herniated my c5-c6 disc years ago. No surgery. But ongoing PT and avoiding things where possible that exacerbate the injury.

I run TR on an iPad and Zwift on the 55” TV. I think it’s impossible to go too big with the TV for Zwift.

I agree…TR on my phone and Youtube, Netflix, etc on the 55" acreen works best for me too.

How do you like those dumbells? Worth the buy?

I think so. I waited until the ridiculous Covid shortages were over and think I got them for less than MSRP. Expensive, but crucial if you don’t have a ton of space.

Thanks. The lights are Hue bulbs that color match the screen. Fun with Zwift.

Age and eyesight affect these measurements. I’ve a 17" laptop with the screen about 3 feet in front of me or it’d be too much of a blur (as the writing is anyway) and too far to reach the keyboard.

Fair points. I definitely can’t reach the keyboard but have a wireless mouse next to me that I can use for just about everything.
