Hey crew I’ve set mine up and loving the feel but it feels like it’s tilting to one side so I got out the spirit level and low and behold.
Any ideas how to centre it?
Thanks in advance!

When I had mine, I found it very sensitive to the front wheel stand position. My method for aligning the front stand was:
Now check if everything is level
Yeah I’ve tried that. It is just tilting to one side. I think it’s the rear of the trainer weight offset.
I’ve got same issue man. Did you fix it?
Tried to make the adjustments to set up per inside ride but never resolved the issue.
Returned for refund.
You can fine tune the leaf spring leveling force by the position in the trainer clamps.
In your case, loosen the clamps and slide the trainer a bit more to the rear. This will lessen the effective force which should get you closer to level.
The only other suggestions I have are:
This was really my only knock on the E-Flex: that getting it setup perfectly takes work given the design
I think I found my lean problem! Turns out the fork legs were bent sideways!
Glad you found the cause of the lean problem.
Looking at the picture, it looks like the Kickr is a little to far forward. It looks like the Kickr center leg extension is touching / overlapping with the front of the rear portion of the E-Flex
How did you install the adjustable feet? Did it need drilling etc?
Drilled, yes. Feet from amazon.
I have been very happily using my E-Flex for almost a year now. A couple months ago my fork mount developed some lateral play (I believe this was sudden and not gradual). It’s hard to describe, the motion assembly moves back and forth (perpendicular to the bike), and I can hear the runners in the lower part of the assembly hitting against the frame.
Unfortunately, when I ride it always stays in the ‘cockeyed’ position. I can ‘click’ it back, but then it immediately moves again. As a result my bars are constantly turned just a few degrees to the left. I know that sounds minor, but it’s starting to affect my pedaling. There is a lot of tension in my right foot and ankle now and it’s getting to be unbearable. I try to straighten it out and point the bars the other way but it doesn’t relieve the tension.
I have tried tightening every bolt on the fork mount, but that seems to make no difference. Like I said, it’s the runners moving against the frame on the bottom. I think I’m going to have to take my bike off the E-Flex until I get this resolved.
Anyone else experienced anything like this? I have a message into Inside Ride, hopefully they’ll be able to shed some light.
Here’s a short video showing what I’m trying to explain
Got the Core version two weeks ago.
5mins easy setup. Done 8 rides so far up to 90mins and really appreciate the comfort and natural feel. Lots of motion side to side and front/back.
Really looking forward to indoor winter season now.
Nice! I haven’t seen or hear of many Core versions in use yet. Such a nice rocker.
I was wondering what people’s thoughts were for the Insideride vs. a rocker plate. I have been looking into both, and was just wanted to get the opinion of anyone who has used both.
I am not concerned about the potential cost difference between the two, just the performance and ride feel. Any recommendations and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Two “official reviews” from people who have spent time on different rockers and the E-Flex.
DC Rainmaker:
Zwift Insider:
My review (linked here, but found way up in this thread).
Chad McNeese:
In stock form, the E-Flex is quite different from other Leverage Input rockers. See my post (super lengthy, sorry) and the one from Zwift Insider (shorter and touches on the same points I make) for some comparisons.
I wanted to follow up on my post here from a couple months ago. I contacted InsideRide and they quickly diagnosed the issue as a broken bearing. They had new bearings to me right away, along with installation instructions. When I got the unit apart is was very quickly apparent that they were right; one of the bearings was broken and another was cracked (talking about the bearings that the fork moves fore-aft on). Easy installation and reassembly and I was back riding.
I can’t say enough good things about the InsideRide customer service!
Thanks for linking to the reviews (even if it did cause information overload)!!!
HA, yeah… I can be long winded in text just like IRL
I’m happy to answer any questions you have after reading any or all of those reviews.
After much delay, I have the first video in a series I plan to offer about the E-Flex.
Unfortunately, I shot this with my GoPro Hero 3 and had forgotten why I had relegated this to supplemental shot duty in the past. The mic on it leads to very low audio levels, so you will have to crank your volume.
But, check it out and let me know what I need to cover better or stuff I missed entirely. I will likely redo this basic video at some point, and I already plan to shoot a ride video with more examples of the full motion.
