Let’s see some Tri/TT rigs

Looks great! One of my pet peeves is seeing extra stem and the base bar not slammed. Once you fix that problem, it will look and be very fast.

Is this the same frame as the Rose Aero Flyer? I have one and it has narrow diameter extensions like you describe. Can’t find anywhere that sells J-bends that will fit. Will be interested to hear how you solve it.

Pic from end of last summer. Bike updated with a new handlebar including extensions and arm rests, following the upward tilt trend

Thanks! It’s the Specialized Sitero

Argon 18 E116 ran tubeless on Vittoria Corsa Speed 23’s. Use 40° bars on 3t Ventus ltd. 54t osymetric single carbon ting from Fibre Lyte. Sitero saddle and Time Xpresso 10 pedals.

BMC TimeMachine 02 Ultegra 2017.

Set up for long distance comfort. Sorry, I mean long distance “comfort”

Never heard of that bike but it’s hot. Position and equipment look great too. Look into 51speedshop for extensions.

Solid position!

This is my fixed gear TT / track bike. I’ve done a number of flat / gently rolling 10 mile TTs on it and got some pretty good result. The fixed gear means that you have to always be fully engaged so for me this means no slacking and I tend to do better than I would on similar courses on geared bikes.
It’s sadly very underused now and I’ll probably have to sell it off soon to make a bit of space.

Well since we said TT rigs. Here’s something different. This is the wife’s open-class TT bike.

Thanks… I love it. The position is definitely not optimal though… First race on it I avg’d roughly the same power as most of the top 5 but came 13th. Pretty flat course so mostly drag that was slowing me down. I think angled extensions may help a lot.

51speedshop is all 22.2mm bars, like most places :frowning: 20mm is what I need

S-Works Shiv TT… pictured there with a Zipp Super 9 disc, but I’ve since replaced it with a Roval 321.

Update… finally got a lower dust cap and cut the steerer! First race isn’t until June. Just been back on this thing for a few weeks. I had lost all Tri motivation and was thinking I was just going to hang out this year but St George being one of the two finalists for 2021 70.3 World Champs has spurred a 2 year plan into action (I am from Utah) so let the Tri bike training commence!

Some amazing rides in this thread! Keep them coming!!

Just took her out for first test ride. I got an older Scott plasma from 2013 and built it up as a mechanical 1x and fitted it with profile aeria bars and hydration box to basically build up an affordable “super bike”

Thanks! Hopefully slightly better now

Nice! I used to ride a recumbent recreationally after I smashed an elbow on the mountain bike; but I sold it on a few years later as it wasn’t ideal for city living. I’m a little curious as to why it has drop bars though - is it for the eTap hoods? More aero than a flat bar for tiller steering?

The one where you use child labor to repair a wheel you could’ve skipped!
