Let's see your paincave!

I don’t know if you are talking about this or the wahoo desk. This is not the wahoo. Half the price or less.

I walked into REI last fall and turns out it was double dividend weekend. Picked up the Kickr, desk and mat for around 1500. Got 150 off then and then 150 at the end of the year. I was good with that. So i basically got the trainer, free desk and mat. Well, the trainer didn’t last a year but the desk and mat are doing well.

They replaced it five times after five deaths and I finally replaced it with the Neo. Long but short story.

Thanks! It’s a little bouncier than I would like for deadlifting, but not bad at all. Eventually I’m going to build a small wooden platform to A) shim the gap underneath the squat rack caused by me mounting it 1/4" too high, B) eliminate the slight incline, and C) deaden the bounce a bit

Good looking space! How are you liking your InsideRide E-Flex @madman2?

I’m not @madman2, but I also have an InsideRide Kickr E-Flex, which I love. It takes a little getting used to, but after you do, it makes a noticeable difference in comfort: much more comfortable.

The “it takes a little getting used to”: at least for me, after doing a couple of rides, it became apparent that my trainer riding style was sloppy and lazy. Not engaging my core, not sitting straight, etc. More rides on the E-Flex, and I’ve cleaned up my sloppiness and lazy riding.

The only issue I’m dealing with is a weird squeaking sound, which I think I’ve found the root cause of: the rubber center feet of the Kickr is up against the E-Flex frame. I’m going to shift the Kickr back a smitch, and hope that eliminates the squeaking.

Thanks! The E-Flex is fantastic. For the last year I’ve been using a homemade rocker which opened my eyes to the comfort that a bit of motion can provide. The E-Flex is so well-built, and the fore/aft motion adds another level of comfort and engagement. Highly recommend it.

that’s a sweet cave bro!

I ordered Wahoo table knockoff from Chain Reaction Cycles. Great price of $82. When arrived,it was missing bolts. They refunded full price and sent the bolts I needed. Sweet! Great customer service.

Sorry. Wahoo table or the lifeline one? Lifeline right now is at 111€ which I think it is around 95 pounds or so.

Lifeline. On sale for around $100 and had a 20% off coupon for first order.

Slowly but surely transforming the garage from a completely cluttered mess to a streamlined paincave!

BEFORE-ISH

AFTER (Work in Progress)

I still have to floor the remainder and put the TV up above the monitor. Awaiting motivational cycling posters for the wall. Mudguards are on the bike for no other reason than I am too lazy to remove them. Looking to pick up a treadmill to complete the e̶n̶t̶e̶r̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ pain cave!
