Movie recommendations

Why has no one here mentioned Mad Max Fury Road so far? It is the film to watch if you are in need of exploding cars and Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron are :fire:

@HLaB Yep, big fan. Good when youā€™re in a threshold effort and realize its 3/4 done because of the movie scene

Put Talladaga Nights on, a terrible match for a threshold effort. Very hard to concentrate :person_facepalming:

This is a good list of fun, easy to watch action movies. Totally second this list.

Iā€™ll add a random collection of my favorites:

Blues Brothers
True Lies
Fight Club
Predator (not any of the new onesā€¦the original with 2 future governors)

Prey was actually really good and could have been better with a slightly higher SFX budget.

Iā€™m totally on the same wavelength with your movie preferences! If youā€™re craving that edgy, action-packed style, consider diving into ā€œSnatchā€ ā€“ itā€™s by the same director as ā€œLock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrelsā€ and has that distinct vibe you love. Plus, with Brad Pittā€™s unforgettable performance, itā€™s a wild ride.

Specialized Holiday card 2013.

I recently stumbled upon ā€œThe Peanut Butter Falconā€ and loved it. Itā€™s heartwarming and has a unique story that stays with you. Speaking of finding movies, for those in New Zealand wondering about can i watch hulu in nz, I remember when I was abroad and found ways to access itā€”it opened up a whole new world of shows and movies. Another great resource is checking out local streaming platforms or DVD rentals for hidden gems.

I was just chanting this with my daughter a few days ago as we made sandwiches. ā€œPeanut Butter Falcon! Peanut Butter Falcon!ā€

Great movie the whole family enjoyed.

canā€™t give you a recommendation for how to watch it through. I own the DVDs since the internet is forgetting movies at a pace of less than a yearā€¦ Or does anyone have a tip? Not long ago you could buy all sorts of things on iTunes. In the meantime, the libraries are completely fragmented and curated to the maximum.
