Just got my We Are One Revive’s back from Berd fully built up. 1,138g with DT180’s, Berd Spokes, 28h. Granted I shopped for deals, but right about $1975 built, shipped, delivered.
Dt Swiss posted a teaser to IG: something off-road/gravel related will be released on 30.5.
Edit: fixed the date
Set mine up on Sunday and took em for a quick spin to swish around the sealant, they ended up upgrading the hubs from the 1/1 to the Solix hubs. Didn’t weight before set up but definitely a drop from the stockers.
The new DT Swiss GRC 1400 models are now on the product page:
Two models with 30 and 50 mm rim heights, 24 mm id, 31/36 mm od, 240 hubs, hooked rims.
There is also a brand new GRC 1100 Dicut gravel wheel:
Models and dimensions similar to the 1400, but lighter and with 180 hubs.
I’ll just add the set I bought. 9Velo gravel 2.0. 26mm internal, 32.4mm outer widths. 45mm depth, claimed weight of 1357g. With a Peak Torque coupon I got them for $880 shipped. PT had really good things to say about them and they didn’t break the bank. The only regret is that they’re only 45mm deep. After watching Dylan’s latest video maybe I should have gone deeper.
Any Roval Terra CL owners here? How do you find them? Now that many new gravel wheels come with a bit higher 40 to 50 mm profile rims, would you still get the Roval Terras instead?
Terra CLXs here, depending on the type of gravel and tire width I’d almost prefer 30mm IW but those did not sell well.
The wheels are light and snappy and ride very well for the three years I’ve owned them.
Anyone have experience with these?
@KorbenDallas I ordered a pair of the CRWs last week so will let you know when they arrive and I’ve tried them. I’ve got a pair of their 50/60 road wheels and I love them.
@Wayne_Smith cool let us know. Just watched a PeakTorque youtube and he was showing some problems with front axle hub tolerance issues (axle/end caps too small)…and some lock ring issues. To be fair this was 2023 and PeakTorque posted a follow up indicating both QC issues have been resolved and he can recommend them.
@KorbenDallas Yes I saw that YT at the time and took PT’s word for it. I can’t fault the road wheels I have that’s for sure.
The new Zipp gravel wheels are out.
Wow, color me surprised/shocked with a 32mm internal.
My XC wheels are 28
@KorbenDallas - the CRWs finally arrived last week. Took around 5 weeks to get here (I’m in the UK) but it seemed like that was due to them taking a long time to clear customs.
I’ve fitted a pair of 40mm Schwalbe G1 RSs to them with Vittoria liners. They went on easy and seated first time using a track pump.
I’ve only ridden them a couple of times but the bike feels much better with them in compared to the Forza wheels which came with the bike. It’s now 400g lighter and the tyres roll really well. I’m riding a gravel race in September and the bike now feels like one I’d be happy to race on
To revive a thread:
I have a pair coming for my new build. Inquiring minds want to know if I made a good choice.
A pair of what?
I personally have a set of We Are One 25mm with Berd Spokes, and Just picked up a set of Nextie 29mm IW based on some questionable feedback on the Zipp’s.
The CRW G36 gravel wheels . Wayne ordered and received a set
