@dlwhitlinger Yeah I kind of agree with @bherbers. You might even consider updating your title to call out your height. Most ppl (myself included) are just skimming and your spec is very standard except frame size. Once I looked closely I realized that this is the critical factor
I just pulled the trigger on a Thesis OB1 which I will be picking up from my shop this week. A few colleagues/buddies have bought one as well and it’s awesome!
$2999 for a lot of bike! You get graphene-strengthened carbon wheels, full carbon frame, and Sram Rival groupset. You can also pick any color you want from the Pantone color book for your frame color. After upgrading my seatpost to a carbon one, my mechanic thinks the build will come out under 16 lbs.
I plan on posting pics/a review once I get some miles on the new rig.
Edit: You also get your choice of 700c wheels or 650b with WTB Byways depending on what suits your needs best. I opted for the 650b :).
Edit #2: The CEO, Randall Jacobs, is super responsive so I’m sure you could ping him via the site to ask about sizing for your height and he could provide recommendations.
I second mattymurda with Thesis. It’s a lot of bike for the price and they are very sexy in person. Randall will help you with any and all questions.
Would also recommend looking at the Ibis Hakka, full carbon bike for $3299. Not many build options, but two wheel size choices. After riding on road and gravel for the last 6 months with it, I’m still smiling. It also has tons of mounts for bikepacking.
Did you pick up the bike. Thoughts ? Pics?
