Depends a little bit on your goals If you want to improve you probably have to increase the structured training. You did show over the summer that you can handle a high TSS and therefore you could do your structured training plus some unstructured riding on top ( if you have the time).
If you ride outside and follow a plan i would still consider this structured. In my experience you should make sure you have a nice climb for intervals otherwise the quality suffers.
Can’t really judge Strava as it is now poor weather and very cold temps so I just ignore them this time of year. But yeah I think some numbers are improving if I look at how easier it is to mats in sweet spot and also it’s easier to push past FTP numbers when doing intervals
Yeah I found that I need a nice climb or long straight with head wind for the workouts to work outside. Learning every day. Think I’ll try and do the structure all week then steady weekend rides outside.
