Gotta be Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer by Jayz and Linkin Park. Just the changes of tempo and it finishes so hard it gets me every time. And “I got 99 problems, bein a b!?$& ain’t one”
I can see that would be a good one!
Yes, I need to add some BOC to my music collection – I would think Joan Crawford would be a good one too!
Ministry - “Burning Inside” from In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up (LIVE) EP
This song (plus others in this release) gives me the shivers every time. The EP is off the charts for a live recording. This is my number one “album” of all time.
Lately it’s
Sturgill Simpson—Sing Along
but it changes constantly. A recurring favorite is
HIM—Right Here In My Arms
I’d like to say it’s

If you haven’t heard it yet, Tom Motello just released a version of it w/ Springsteen and Eddie Vedder. A pretty good take on it, I thought……but I’m a huge Springsteen fan, so….
Ja Ja Ding Dong. From the best movie of 2020, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Eurovision | Ja Ja Ding Dong Full Song | Netflix Is A Joke - YouTube

That keeps anyone going!
Rearview Mirror – Pearl Jam
I’m completely torn between…
Huey Lewis and the News
“Hip to be square”
Or Sum 41
“Motivation”
Both high tempo, one super positive the other not so much
„I against I“ by Mos Def!
Great energy, great pace, great lyrics for a workout!
Tight contest between The Stooges’ Search and destroy and Black Flag’s Thirsty and miserable. Probably the latter.
Thanks for all the recommendations!
I realize that this is a non-answer, but it’s got to be a steady tempo between 90 and 95 bpm for me. Anything outside that range has a tendency to drag my cadence to something non-optimal. I’m sure there’s a thread on here somewhere about 90 bpm tunes.
Currently, Japandroids’ “Near To The Wild Heart Of Life” and Coldplay’s “Higher Power” have been my go-tos in this range. Severely at risk of wearing them out from excessive listening, though.
Ok ultimate bury yourself for 5 mins track
Hans Zimmer - x-x from experiments album of X men. Not even in the movie. High tempo pulsing electronics to keep up your pace with soaring uplifting chords to keep your motivation.
Can go sadist mode to yourself on that one!
ok patrick bateman (hope you get the reference, there’s a scene in a movie with this song and an axe lol)
Blister in the sun - Violent Femmes
