man as long as you are ok with your road bike getting trashed, go for it. my gravel bike is beat the heck up after like 5 races. I would never ride my road bike on it; not only for frame reasons, but thinking components and barstem and any other swanky stuff on it.
gravel bike needs to be tough if it’s mid to deep gravel.
