~700 watts for 1 min at the end of the Greenbelt Wednesday night training race. Regrettably, I’m around 88-89 kg, so it’s not watts/kg for me. My favorite game is watts/crosswinds instead.
@pbase, thanks for the Clif Notes. I was half way through off season lifting and TB II (so tempo and sweet spot work). I’ll take 1-2 weeks just doing endurance (so similar to TB I) and then restart TB II. I don’t really have any A events next year so I have flexibility in when I start next season. I may still do TB III or just forgo it altogether and roll right into base 1 (either polarized or sweet spot).
I’m just doing my own plan while I wait for the new stuff to come out and see if it helps with creating masters plans. A threshold ride, lots of Z2, an occasional VO2. It’s actually working!
I’m 47kg and live on the coast. I don’t like that game
Niiiiiccccceeee!!!
Gone in 60 seconds!
Full send from the beginning is pretty much like that. Two of my top 3 are like that, big kick at the beginning, and then holding on for dear life.
But this effort is just 1W off my best 1-min and looks different - averaged 400W for 34 seconds, then 900W for 12 seconds, and then holding on for dear life!
Modeled FRC / anaerobic capacity is pretty good, looks like I had another 2.9kJ to give!
Folks like @amonza would crush me on that (straddles two Strava segments) effort!
My 1 minute pb (707 W at 74 kg btw ) was during an all-out, 3 minute test. A 3 minute test that lasted only 2 minutes lol. 3 minutes is a really long time…
3 minutes is an eternity! Nice initial kick at 1400+
