I absolutely love my Tarmac. Just waiting until i can afford some nice wheels as i got the sport version. Its a tremendously fast yet comfortable bike
Orro Venturi could be a good choice too:

Has good review on road.cc:
Also look at Factor bikes:
cannondale evo?
I’m a big fan of Felt, and the new AR with disc brakes and DI2 looks amazing
Don’t forget about the Orbea Orca! I would say it’s one of the best value for money bikes out there. The Orca Aero is even more affordable than the new Orca. Well within your budget and you can get any color you want with the MyO paint customization program. MyO — Orbea
I’ve definitely been keeping an eye on those – they do seem like a good deal for the money (comparatively) and the MyO paint customization is awesome. I wish more manufacturers did that.
I’m having a T-Lab X3 being built right now (I hope) I wanted their R3-Omni Road bike with a GRX Di2 group because of all the climbs and some sweet double track in my area, but looking at the geometry, the X3 was better suited for endurance riding (I got a set of road specific wheels for it.) Came in at about $5,500 US and very well kitted out too.
Since they don’t build until you order, you can pretty much pick from the stock geometries or go full custom for an extra $500.
For me it would be a 2020 Scott Foil or possibly the new Addict.
I’d second a Scott Foil. One of the key reasons I bought one is because of the lack of integration as it brings with it ease of putting it into a bike box and any maintenance.
