Thought I’d chime in here with some feedback about my recently purchased AXO Shimano 4 bolt power meter.
Installation was very easy on a set of XTR crank arms with a 34 tooth steel chainring (for winter use here in Scotland).
I couple of rides had me thinking it was reading a bit on the low side so I though I’d do a comparison to my Assiomas. The results we excellent - and my legs are obviously still slightly crap after January’s Covid!
Here’s a plot of the Assiomas (Blue) against the AXO (red) along with a percentage (100 x (Assioma / AXO)) in black.
As you can see on this section, the plots match almost perfectly with the average readings being less than 1% higher from the Assioma’s.
Here’s a sprint from elsewhere in the ride. The AXO is a little bit high but not far off.
We’ll see how things go in the longer term, but I’d describe myself as very happy with this £329 power meter.
