The Oxygen advantage by McKeown, any thoughts?

Thanks for your feedback and sharing your experienct. I was kind of expecting more cyclist to be informed about this book/topic but apparently it’s a niche.

I’ll need to go through the book again I guess, forgot some of the concepts.

As I mentioned above I read the book. I even did a deep diving into reading some of the studies he talks about in the book.

The bottom line is that this book is not going to make you appreciably faster on a bike. I think some of his technique might apply to very short track events.

Some top coaches and athletes are using respiratory training to good effect but they aren’t using the techniques McKeown talks about in this book. They are mostly training the endurance of their diaphragm with devices like the Spirotiger. Musicians use the same techniques.
