Picked up 3 different models. Here are my thoughts
Sugoi Pro RS - Thin durable feeling material (straps are a little scratchy), easy to put on. Medium compression - Compared to what ive been using i thought they were pretty tight but nothing like Castelli. The waist is too high to pee out the top and the legs were pretty tight to pee out the leg. Good enough to keep, 40% off from LBS
Castelli Race Aero 4 - Most minimal feeling material wise. Very thin. These are literally like a second skin and putting them on was a chore. Once they’re on almost as if they aren’t there. Compression is TIGHT but once they are in place they felt really good. These are definitely racing bibs, just not sure I wanna feel like that all the time. It felt like putting on my tri suit. I assume these wouldn’t hold up as long as the rest. Most expensive of the 3 and I gambled with buying 3 of these, they will be going back to Competitive Cycling
Pearl Izumi PRO - These are by far my favorite and I wasn’t expecting that. Material literally feels like luxury and they have a thicker feel to them. At first sight they are a little boring. The chamois is thinner than the Castelli. Easy to put on and take off. Can pee from the waist. Longest leg length of the 3. Also 40% off from LBS. Wish they had more pairs
