New bike, more agressive than my previous bike but I am adjusting and this bike flys.

White bikes with gold decals must be the in thing per the last 3 road bikes that have been posted

I put new hoops on the the R’Jack but on hindsight I probably should have went with something deeper than 50mm.

I’ve used just about every chain, but have settled into using 10s chains as they hit a sweet spot of cost, availability, and weight.

Pulled this frame off the wall and built it up last night, it’s got a long history…. The short version is it’s basically brand new from 2018 (2019 model) and just sat in my garage haha

Finally got around to putting this little guy back together. I’m too cheap for fancy road bike builds but fortunately BMX stuff goes for way cheaper at my level

Well played…

Wife: Is that a new bike?
Husband: No I’ve had that for almost 4 years.

Very much a teaser because the frame just arrived tonight, but I am unreasonably excited.

It’s an absolute stunner, and if you watch Mapdec on YouTube, the Time build quality is second to none

Here comes a dump:

Road: Storck Aerfast Pro, rim brake, 12 speed DuraAce Di2.

Gravel: Open UPPER, 12 speed Ultegra Di2.
Gravel mode:

Road mode:

Karma Coffee, for those who are interested. Best dang coffee around.

MTB: Yeti SB130. Somehow I don’t have a good picture of it, but this background is nice enough…

Fat bike: Surly Wednesday

Is the quiver full? Well, I don’t have a TT bike, and I certainly could do with a XC bike…

@The_Conductor - how’d you do in the floods? And for local events, you should think about putting Grateful Gravel out of Sugarbush on your calendar for next year. Very fun/tough ride (64 mi w/ 8k+ feet of climbing, including Roxbury Gap), and there’s kind of a hilarious disconnect between the super chill, Grateful Dead-themed vibe of the event beforehand and the actual difficulty of the course. Plus boomers in Dead-themed lycra dancing around? It’s a little bit of a weird deal.

Step ahead of you. Course was in great shape all things considered. Just one section of hike a bike. I’ll be back next year if my schedule allows.

I’m a poser and don’t actually live in VT (yet), so I’m fine. If I remember correctly, you’re near Montpellier–hope all is well.

Beast mode holy shit…that’s fast as hell for that much climbing!

Nice! It was a fun event, for sure, and I’ll definitely be back next year.

For the floods, we got off pretty easy here, I’m up in the mountains above town. Six inches of water in the basement and our driveway washed out. So basically an inconvenience compared to the alternative. But one of the roads I ride on a few days a week didn’t do so well …

With the launch of the SL8 I thought I’d better put my SL7 on here before it’s too late. No desire to
update it

Totally, and I can see exactly what he’s referring too. The inside of the frame, the faces, the bearing insets, etc, really very nice. Undoubtedly that when you get to this tier of frame all manufacturers should be able to make a great frame, and most do, but hot damn this frame is incredibly finished.
