I looked at the Trek wave cell helmets vs the MIPS Velocis. I do a lot of hill climbing on road and mountain bike, where cooling is a priority given slow speeds.
The wave cell structure looks like it would block a lot of airflow. Maybe not a concern if you’re usually riding around at 15+ mph, but for slow speed climbs, I’d bet it would be hot.
I went with the Velocis.
