47s available now
dang, theyâre discounted too. I would grab some if they fit my bike. maxed at 44-45mm
Looks like they are opening up an official wait list - 5pm CST today. Will be first-come, first-serve as spots open up. If your spot comes up, youâre on the clock - 24 hours to claim it.
I almost hate myself for even considering it after last yearâs race⌠but Iâm gonna go back in for the 100. Maybe I donât get a parasite this time
Thanks for this! Just grabbed a pair and theyâll likely be what I run for the XL
Edit: decided to buy a 3rd to have as a backup if I destroy one in training or something.
interesting. I didnât know they made them in 700x47.
For those who have ridden Unbound - is it worth going to a tire this big for comfort + flat protection?
They didnât up until very recently. Thatâs why there is barely any info on it. I ordered one to see if it will clear my Crux frame. Plan to decide if I want to ride 2Pro 42s, S-Works or Pro 47s.
47 i bet will be nice, looking forward to your reviews
Just what I need, a great review of the 47s to âforceâ me to buy a new bike.
Dang, that would suck. Do you think you got it from the road spray?
100% got giardia from the slinging âmud.â I will definitely be doing the anti-rain dance for less muddy conditions this year.

I recently had this during my last event, and they were great. Iâve never had the Betty Lous but they look similar, but less calories and a lot less expensive. They tasted like dessert and would be perfect on some ice cream.
Oatmeal Crumble Bars Apple - Natureâs Bakery (naturesbakery.com)
Betty Louâs would be perfect on vanilla ice cream. YUM!
Are they worth $2.50?
I think I saw them on Amazon for $2, but yeahâŚeven then they are too damn pricey. Would consider the Natureâs Bakery option at $1 / bar.
Update - if you are willing to wait, the NB bars are about $.56 on Amazon, but 2 weeks delivery time.
Iâll check those out.
I do have natures bakery gluten free fig bars. But theyâre bulkier than the Betty lou fruit bars. Thatâs what I like about the Betty Lou bars besides the taste. 42g of carbs in a very compact form. I can just bite off half to get 21g carbs in one bite.
I found them at a Winco for .56 each and also at a Grocery Outlet for a few dollars for a box of 5.
2.16 on the feed. Less on either platform with subscribe and save. They arenât a staple for me, they are more like that thing you eat between gels/liquid to make it tolerable to do gels & liquid after youâve had one. Iâm going to put three flavors on amazon subscribe and save every 6 months and push it out if I donât eat them all (I will eat them all though) Amazon pricing can be wonky though.
