3615 kJ/kg over 357 non-coasting cycling hours (97% of total). I’ve got 45 hours of aerobic cross training as well on there too plus 20hours weight lifting. Should finish the year with 430ish total
For 2024 its:
Swim, Bike, Run = 1130h
Just Bike = 613h (15h Coasting) & 438,000 Kj (or 6800 Kj/kg)
Oddly, on intervals Kj from Run & Swim don’t add into the total.
Besides riding more indoor (time efficient). What are your tips for finding more time on the bike?…. assuming you work and have family commitments as well.
2024: 347,000 kj ==> 4,450 kj/kg
2023: 347,000 kj ==> 4,450 kj/kg
2022: 371,000 kj ==> 4,755 kj/kg
2021: 356,000 kj ==> 4,565 kj/kg
Chapeau!!!
Not sure why, but Intervals has me riding 27hrs less than Strava does, so these numbers are 100% accurate, but close enough.
As of today:
274,002kj —> 3,513 kj/kg
Coasting time: 3hr33min of 387hrs
Good start, dump them
I bike commute. That’s a minimum of an hour a day. But I often ride extra after work, at least until around the time my girlfriend gets home from work (a couple hours after me).
My girlfriend is also athletic, so we do runs and rides together (she is also signed up for her first triathlon next year), so we ride/run together a lot. I converted her from ultra runner to mountain biker
I spend as minimal time as possible on a trainer. Ideally I won’t even touch it next year, but I’m sure I will on occasion.
I’m only limited by work, sleep, and my other hobbies. One of them absorbed a HUGE time commitment this year (earning my pilots license), the others not so much.
6296kj/kg
623 hours with 9hr55min coasting.
Not everyone is built to push big kJs, sad fact of life but no reason to change your measurement system.
