yeah agree, i was going to say, check if there is some sort of calibration issue happening when our dude moves the pedals to the indoor bike. Because 75% reduction is quite a lot.
When i’m riding in zone 2, 160 watts indoors gives me a feeling of despair that i don’t feel even at 200 watts outdoors. That’s still a big swing but explainable by mental and other intangible factors. I don’t think OP’s delta is explainable just by those.

Yes, going downhill the difficulty with putting out high power is in the pedals moving away too quickly during the power phase.
Going uphill, at least in the first couple of seconds, has you pedaling above FTP almost without even noticing.
