7 years ago. That year it was 100+F on the climb after the gravel (before lunch) and on Resurrection Pass in the early afternoon. Thankfully both of those summit rest stops were handing out ice socks.
Weather looks good this year, pretty much the same forecast in Davis and Clearlake (lunch stop):
At least 3 of the Wednesday night crew are riding this year. Its an easy double and well supported. Have fun!
