In 2021, I did the High Cascades 100 (11:18) and Leadville (11:43). I really enjoyed both. But my first kid was born in 2021, and kid two in 2023. I really let cycling take a back burner. The kids are getting bigger and I have an increasing drive to get back to structured training.
I’m looking to put something big on the calendar for 2025 to motivate me. Leadville was a great experience but one-and-done for me. I enjoyed the HC100 much more. It was a smaller group, everyone was super chill, and a lot of gorgeous single track.
Is there a race you would really recommend? I’ve been eyeing Park City P2P. It sounds like a beast though, on par or harder than Leadville physically and more technical.
