4 season all round tyre

Morning all,
After some advice
Ive just got a Ribble cgr which needs new tyres, im not really likely to do much gravel riding.
I will be riding in 4 seasons
I’d like to stick to 40mm
Tan walls would be nice
I will be using inner tubes. I will explore tubeless down the line but for now I’ll be using tubes, it’s just what I’m used to and not keen to experiment until I’m more used to it
This bike is for comfort, so the tyre choice really is to make me feel confident and comfortable over saving 3 watts.

Schwalbe G-One Speed, but I’ve never seen the 40 with tan walls. Take the V-guard version if you have the option

There is a “4 season” version, but it might feel a bit chunky for lovely summer days imo

I can recommend the Continental GP Urban.

35mm wide, but will hardly make a difference to 40mm imho. I have these on my commuter bike, a route including tarmac and gravel paths. I’ve also ridden packed dirt by crossing through a national park on occasion, and they grip well.

The tread is subtle and they feel fast. Don’t remember the TPI count but the tire is supple.

A bonus for me is that they’re manufactured in EU.
