4iiii power meters - low on certain stock?

I’ve been watching the site for a while now and a number of products (ride ready as well as factory fit) have been out of stock for quite some time. A response from their support department in October indicated that they were having issues obtaining inventory. Does anyone have the inside track on when new stock might be arriving? I’d really like to purchase one of their products (hopefully the podium for xtr cranks - 165mm) but the elongated wait time is making me consider other products (i.e. Stages - similarly constrained, but from an installation capacity perspective or power2max).

The 4iiii HQ is currently under mandatory WFH given local COVID restrictions until at least next week, and there are a number of supply chain issues with shimano globally at the moment.

Thanks for the info Rondal. I guess that I’ll wait a while longer to see what happens as I’d like to support 4iii through purchasing from them if possible.

Try checking ebay. I found a shop on ebay from WV (speed shop I think). Call them and they have some in stock. I got a small discount as they didn’t have to go thru ebay and their fees. I just bought another one yesterday.

Another shop on ebay has them too, but are from California I think…powermeter city or something. Good luck! I’d act quick, as you said, stock is running low.

Power meter city is great, have ordered from them quite a few times. If they don’t have something in stock I’ve found their customer service helpful in finding the best alternative.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I think part of the problem is my use of the 165mm arms. Doesn’t seem to be as popular a size, hence less stock.

Agreed, 165mm is not a popular size. I just purchased a dual 4iiii power meter with 165mm arms from 4iiii.com last week. I had been searching several sites for a few weeks.

I got lucky then. Got a refurbished 105 from them a couple of days before Christmas.

I’d love to user power meter city but they won’t ship to Au :frowning:

I saw a 165 on ebay yesterday. Powermeter city had it. But, I went with the speed shop in WV and they ordered one for me. Try calling 304-933-4533 to see if they can help you out.

As long as you are also twirling the ends of an appropriately styled moustache a la Dick Dastardly then I think the evil laugh is the way to go! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

For those playing at home, I’ve ended up ordering the power2max NGeco. Rationale being that it is less likely to get damaged on a mtb (hopefully) and it can be swapped between Shimano groupsets without looking out of place. Oh, and it is available now. Another PM brand joins the family. :man_shrugging:
