I had Reinstein on my plan today. None of the hills directly on my doorstep are long enough for the intervals in that workout so I rode about half an hour to one of my favourite climbs on a lovely steady road that twists up through the woods. I had to go over some other hills on the way there and back which I rode either at threshold or vo2 max. Their combined length would be more than one of the three intervals in Reinstein. Should I fill out the end of ride questionnaire based on how I found the prescribed key intervals or the ride as a whole? I’m guessing it would be the former if adaptive training just looks at the main intervals in the workout and the later if it considers the whole ride…
