Another AI training app: Athletica.ai

I am naturally curious so after reading your post I have decided to give Athletica.ai a try.
I am currently recovering from a bad injury due to a road bike accident (6 months ago) and wanted to get back to structured training after having done the first 2-3 months of recovery/base only.
I am playing a bit with the app settings at the moment to build a proper plan, my goals being to have some FTP growth in the next months while riding only indoors (until end of March) and then, if all goes well, target a specific IRL Gran Fondo by the end of June.
First things I have noticed:

  • the change in terms of hours needed, switching between a low volume (on any speciality) to a mid- volume cycling plan is too big; this even if you input the minimum and maximum number of hours you are available (it’ s an additional option) / I have put min 6 to max 11 hours per week;
  • Switching between cycling type of event does not change the structure and type of suggested workouts of a plan (I have tried all, only evident difference I have noticed is the addition of some running workouts when selecting Cyclocross as target type of event).
    Happy to receive suggestions on how to set up things btw!
