I’ve gone down the rabbit hole on Zwift. My self worth is tied up in experience points, levels, badges and my drop balance. I covet a Tron bike
All my Zwift rides have been trainerroad workouts. Often it’s an endurance workout which has me crawling up Watopian climbs. This is a massive improvement from looking at the back of the garage door all winter
Sometimes the workout ends before I top out on a climb or finish a route. I probably can’t do a 14% grade at an endurance pace while free riding, I need to be in erg mode
Is there a way to finish a TR workout, then load another ( say petit) and complete the Zwift route or climb I’m on?
There isn’t a way to do so at the moment – you can, however, continue riding after the structured portion of the workout is complete and the entire activity will sync back to TR as one ride.
Hope that helps – feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions!
Yeah. You can also go straight into another workout from the Menu screen. It’s the upper most option on the right-hand side.
If you really want to maximize exp, make a long endurance workout, like 2+ hours, that consists entirely of something like five minute long blocks at 65% FTP. Then you can zone out forever over any terrain, pick new routes for bonus exp, and consistently grind away at a steady pace without having to worry about losing exp if you need to quit the ride at a random time.
