I’m shopping around for a used bike in Europe, trying to get the best value possible - don’t have a ton of budget. I’ve narrowed down the possibilities to a Cervelo S3 2016 frameset - 550€ or a 2012 Scott Foil Premium - frameset, Giant slr 1 wheels, ultegra brakes and crankset - 1050€.
Has anyone had the opportunity to ride the two bikes? I’m quite a heavy rider (85 kg), so I guess the weight doesn’t really matter THAT much. I’m just looking for a bike that’s as fun as possible and can whip out an amateur race here and there too. Which would be a better choice?
