That’s why they have not turned a profit in 5 years
The ENVE site only shows a full build for $8100 for me.
You have to pick the bike, which shows full build price, and then scroll all the way to the bottom for the framesets. Here’s the Melee one for completeness.
Strange, nowhere else is listing it at that price and you can’t actually purchase these from ENVE direct.
No, you have to buy the bikes through an ENVE dealer.
I am aware, but none of them are reflecting the $4450 price.
Dunno…maybe contact them and show them the website with the price?
I would show them the Enve website when inquiring. If they say no, say ok have a nice day, and go somewhere else. I don’t see why they would.
I get the sentiment, but I think its somewhat unfair.
A car is NOT a bike. So its not a fair comparison… not apples to apples.
But I am now, the more I think about it, I kind of agree with you. Having bikes by generation, helps dealers and and makers while screwing consumers in one key aspect, pricing change year after year. Now they can sell a bike with a lower production cost and initial MSRP for the same price of a new out of the assembly line bike, which now that I think about it, an insane things to do. To me this is a hidden incentive for dealers to wait for new bikes and new prices drop to sell NOS bikes for the same as brand new bikes and make a few hundred dollars more. Insanity, but not because of how they look or components, because all of it is really irrelevant, but because the anti-consumer aspect of it.
Any power meters sales you guys have seen?
Rotor has a sale and Speedplay Powerlink pedals are on sale at various sites…
i’ve been enjoying my Sigeyi AXO spider power meter enough that I bought another one recently for MTB. Aliexpress had a sale and some coupons for early black friday, it looks like another one is upcoming?
$293 shipped incl. tax to me in US.
prior to that, best price I could find is from PowerMeterCity - $380.
I was also considering quarq or other spider on sale, but in this case Sigeyi wins since I’ve had a good experience, price was lowest, and they offer a very wide array of different crank fitments.
I picked up two of these wheelsets from my LBS for a pretty ridiculous price so make some phone calls to see what is in the stores!
I can’t link right now, but 4iiii is having 20-35% or so off for some of their power meters.
Yup, just grabbed a factory install on a duraace 9200 for the 3+ and was a little over $300 out the door. Oh and if you sign up for their emails you can get an extra $15 off.
The xcadey ones are ~$270-$300 pretty consistently. Not sure how similar to the Sigeyi AXO but they do look similar
Sram and Quarq seem to be on sale
