Anyone else experiencing this? I go to a thread, read the new posts, go back to the main screen, and the thread still shows that there are new, unread, posts. Been happening on all of my Apple devices for the last day or so.

Clearly a bug in the latest Discourse update. I am adding in @eddiegrinwald and @ZackeryWeimer since they may see this sooner and be able to dive into the issue.

Yep, it’s driving me nuts. It’s not remembering my position in any threads, any time I click into one I’m scrolled where I was a day or so ago. Same in private messages.

on chrome / windows, scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the thread (all the way) seems to correct the count
Yip, the same is happening here on both the laptop & phone.
I think it’s a new feature.
It means you have wasted too much time on the forum and need a timeout.
