I had used plan builder to build a plan from December to the end of March, where I’d placed an A event. That event has been cancelled, so I edited it to the new date, mid-May, and the plan regenerated, extending up to that date. I’ve now added 3 other events in through the year (July-September - my four events are down as A-B-A-B), but the plan won’t extend past a recovery week after the May event.
Or build a new plan using the original start date you used for your current plan.
This should give you a broadly similar plan taking into account what you have already done, but changing going forward due to the new target event dates.
@DO-IT-ALL has the right idea here. In order to have Plan Builder include all of your new events, I’d delete your current plan after taking note of the details (shown below) and then rebuild it with the same data. Just ensure that you select for PB to include your events in your plan.
Smash it 2024 Volume: Mid Experience Level: Beginner/Intermediate Discipline: Gravity Start Date: December 8, 2023 End Date: May 19, 2024
If I’m not mistaken doing it this way will give you the same set up as adding a second plan, but it will also delete any manual changes you have done to your ongoing plan.
Setting up a second plan is an option as well. I can’t say for sure if this is always going to give you the same results, though. If you’ve significantly manipulated your current plan and you can’t reproduce what you have in place through Plan Builder, creating a second plan could be a good choice as well.
When modifying or starting a new plan, it rightly doesn’t schedule things for dates in the past. But it does schedule a workout for today, without checking first to see if I’ve already done one. I did Baxter -2 this morning, the new plan says I should do Muir today. Easy enough to delete it, as I have done, but thought I’d let you know since it should be a very easy fix to code.
