Feature Request - Past *Other* Activities

Under the career module on the TR software there is an overview Past Rides where I can handily review what I have done and my notes.

For me as a multisport athlete, it would be great to also have this overview for the run and swim workouts that I have, so that I can just scroll through. All in one place is okay, or filter per discipline.

From what I’ve read previously TrainerRoad is already backfilling our old activities in preparation to do just this :partying_face:

Support for running and swimming workouts is on our Development Roadmap :slight_smile:

It will be awhile before we roll-out full support since our resources are currently devoted to bringing the Calendar features into the apps, but it is absolutely something that we hope to add in the future.

Can we expect to have run workout of the triathlon plan inside the app (treadmill: run pace, power…)?

While not completely out of the realm of possibility, our primary focus is Cycling for the forseeable future. In-app running training is not on our Development Roadmap at this time.

Importing runs and swims is still on the back-burner for now. Developing the new apps is a laborious process, and has taken almost all of our Developer’s resources for the past 6-7 months. We have also been focused on Garmin and Wahoo outdoor ride support which has been a major project the past few months as well.

Due to the nature of software development, it can be really tough to give an exact timeframe because some projects finish months ahead of schedule, and others months behind schedule. Bugs can hold things up considerably, and we don’t want to put a suggested date out there, and then disappoint anyone.

What I can say though, is that this feature is not currently being worked on, and is prioritized behind some other big projects. Sadly, that means that the release date is pretty far in the future. I’m really sorry I don’t have better news for you at the moment :pensive:.
