Feature Request - Zone Indicators on App Dashboard

One of the things I like on my Wahoo ELEMNT is the LED strip on the side that goes up or down and changes color depending on what zone I’m in. I have mine set to read my HR. Might be cool to add something similar to TR dashboard - some subtle visual indicators of what HR and power zone you are currently in. I actually find these motivating and useful on the ELEMNT as it helps me adjust my effort level, cadence, etc., and they’re are also good general indicators of how I’m feeling that day (And no - I’m not just staring at my ELEMNT out on the road - safety first! )

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Maybe if it’s just a case of changing the colour of the yellow line that shows our output, through a certain range instead

Yeah - something low-key and in keeping with their aesthetic, which I love. Simplicity. Nothing too flashy

I was thinking the same thing while doing my workout last night.

I have a coworker that is a TR user and uses Wahoo. He must watch his heart rate because of health issues. Seems like a good feature, especially for those that wish to train hard, but keep under a dangerous heart level.

I’m off to look if it can be done but is it a futile search? I’d like TR to display power zones behind their workout diagrams. It would be nice to know at a glance that’s it’s a Zone 2/3 workout and not a Zone 1 (recovery) workout :+1:

I merged your request with an existing one.

As of now, there is no way to see or show “Zones” in the TR workout app.

Thanks👍

Rather than starting a new thread thought I’d tack onto a this old one.
Any updates on adding current Power Zone to the workout display? I’d find this most useful, particularly when I Freeride in resistance mode for recovery workouts. Not sure why TR doesn’t have this feature as most other training software does.
Thanks

Hey! Thanks for checking in, this isn’t on our roadmap at the moment. We do have open Feature Requests for more visibility for Outdoor Workouts (with fields such as heart rate requested), but there are some higher priority fixes and updates to take care of before this feature would be considered.

I’d love to be able to easily see my zones during my workouts. One, so I can see where I’m at during different intervals, but also if I happen to not be able to meet the target and need to adjust for maybe 30 seconds in a different zone.

This could be an optional feature you toggle on or off. You could also choose what color you want for each zone and even what zones are visible.

Anyone else think this would be a great feature?

I moved your post under an existing one with the same basic goal / concept. We group them to keep similar ideas in the same topic for discussion and tracking.

This would be an awesome feature, whether it’s a graph overlay as above or a sub text under power stat number. (For the Indoor training app)

In my opinion, TR would be totally complete with this ability. I’m a new user and I miss being able to see what zone I’m in. It helps a lot understanding what my relative effort is in the moment. Currently have some clunky work arounds running multiple apps and swiping screens to see where I’m at. But it feels silly having to do so.

Please highly consider this feature.
