After completing a ramp test, my career page (web) still showed my old FTP and W/Kg. I went into my profile and changed in manually, but should the TR software pick that up automatically or was I just impatient?
I’ve had the career page not update and changed it manually. It has always been correct on the device that I did the ramp test on though.
Mine didn’t change right away but it did end up changing before my next scheduled workout
I recently had the same issue…tested first time with TR auto FTP which seemed low and tested 2nd time a few days later with higher results but never had TR auto update my FTP. I am brand new to this so I just assumed my career would auto update on each ramp test?
Done my first FTP for SSB2 tonight, accepted the FTP value and it has not updated (web app)
It definitely did update when I accepted at start of SSB1.
Something gone wrong here?
To add to the above it has updated on my Android app. Been into web app and forced it to refresh and now shows up.
This looks again like the same issues with the web app not refreshing that I have had all over the place.
Is it worth raising with support again as issue is slightly different place or not? They did (with video I took) say my issues were known and may be fixed at some point.
Is more than an irritation now though, having to let page load then reload every time.
Go ahead and report this to our Support Team. We really appreciate your help (and patience) as we work on improving this issue .
Re-raised it and added extra info. Hoping if it is the same issue as I experienced before it is soon to be fixed.
Same problem here. I’ll wait until tomorrow’s workout to see if it updates on the webpage by then.
Be sure that the device you performed the test on has a solid connection to the internet, and that you give it enough time to sync before closing the app
I’m pretty sure it sync’d and the internet connection is solid. Still no update, although I see the new FTP listed with the workout and on the device. Just not the website. I think last time it took about a day.
Hmm, that is certainly not the seamless app to web interaction we strive to achieve . Would you mind trying one more thing for me?
Go ahead and force close the application, and then re-open it. Then, make the following observations:
- Upon re-opening, does it show your updated FTP in the app?
- Allow the application time to sync, then reload your browser. Does the Web show the updated FTP?
I’ve also asked a support agent to reach out to you via your TrainerRoad email, so look out for an email from us
…and there it is! It just appeared upon refresh. Maybe it was your tech support that did the trick? Either way, the world is right again. Thanks for your concern and help
I have the same issue where the app on my phone has the proper FTP update from my latest ramp test while the website still has the old number. I have refreshed several times and have closed out of the browser and re-opened several times. I completed the test around 6:25pm yesterday 4/1/19. Thirteen hours is enough time to sync?
13 hours should certainly be enough time to sync.
I asked a Support Agent to reach out to you to look into this issue, but it appears we do not have your email on file. If you wouldn’t mind, could you shoot us an email at support@trainerroad.com so that we can troubleshoot this issue further?
Thanks!
I just did the ramp-test and it updated on the web as soon as the workout was synced online.
Here is the workaround: if you go into the app on your phone and tap on your FTP # it will pull up a dialog that will allow you to adjust the number. Click “DONE” to cancel out and then it will update on the web version. Go figure.
Update: screwy thing is that it adds the new FTP twice. Once with the date stamp of the ramp test and then again with the date stamp of when you did the above workaround. I just deleted the one from today and left the one dated from the ramp test.
For my last two FTP ramp tests, my FTP doesn’t update in my career, yet it does show up in my history. I end up manually updating it to the new FTP, then my history shows two updates. It isn’t that big of deal for me to update but curious if I have some setting set incorrectly or something?
I suggest contacting support@trainerroad.com to get direct support.
Mine did the same at the end of february.
Please report it via the mail chad provided or via the live chat (US-officehours).
They were looking into it but hadn’t had any other reports or leads as to why it happened, so any extra incidences will interest them.
