Well, if you search on POL in the workout list, look at what you find!
Using my keen intuition, I figured out the secret code of the workout naming.
Fun!

Sweet, with one observation. That search sneaks in a few non-POL workouts, so the better search is "POL - " (include the “space sash space”) to get 144 POL workouts shown at present.
The 4 x 16 minutes at 106% variants scare me more than my nemesis Shortoff +4 that I’ve got scheduled for tomorrow…
Good find. Will be trying one tomorrow
lol, I feel that!
Important to keep in mind these are designed within the context of Adaptive Training, so if you have a low FTP for one reason or another (haven’t assessed recently, bad testing day, responding extremely well to your training) that workout might not be too bad. Just good to have all the options for Adaptive Training to pick from
Recently I’ve been doing 4x6 minutes at 106% with 3 minute recovery and that feels like a tough, but achievable, workout. I can’t imagine the 4x16 with any amount of rest
Thank goodness I can lean back and let the AI take the wheel
They are all Breakthrough or Not Recommended for me… so I won’t be trying any time soon
TRAT is my Co-pilot?
Also worth stating, I’m not sure anybody would ever be fed that workout via Adaptive Training, but if the strange stars aligned in my post above, at least we’ll have that edge-case covered.
The Revolution is Live!
They all seem to be Threshold or VO2max. Do you use the existing Endurance workouts as well or am I missing the point?
These are just individual workouts, not a plan. Plans are coming soon
Plans are linked from the workouts right now, although that might not be intentional
I’m really hoping for some Baxter style long Z1 workouts rather than 3 hours at one wattage. I’ve created a few of my own (funnily enough, they start with “POL - “), but would love to see some TR created ones.
If I understand Seiler correctly, you don’t have to do lactate levels to find the 3 zones. Level one is the power you maintain for an hour without a gradual increase in heart rate. If you are not over heating or dehydrated. And the VO2 workouts is what ever you can do 4X8min with 2 min rest in between. I’d like to test this as I can do lots of endurance and maybe one day a week this 4X8min and a gym session once a week. My goal is a 360km endurance MTB ride in December.
Managed to get a peek and looks similar to what I was after but will work much better having the AT and progression levels to keep me right
Is this available for the select few or widely available? (asking for a friend ;))
