My bike shop helped me attach an extra battery. They used an old pump holder.
Not very aero, but worked really well.
That battery is just a mobile battery pack and not a specific GoPro battery?
Correct, just an external USB battery. Added some tape to it, fitted snuggly into the holder and then a Garmin type elastic band around it to keep it on place. It was a nice idea.
