Has Anyone Dealt With a Knee Cap Bone Spur?

I just found out that I have a bone spur off the top of my right knee cap. It rubs the big old quad tendon stretches over it. It is extremely painful. :confounded:

I had it checked out at an ortho-urgiCare. I guess I will get up to the university ortho docs for a final verdict and options.

As I understand, bone spurs tend to come back - surgery outcome typically is not positive…?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,

I have the exact same issue with my right knee cap. I was wondering how is your condition progressing? Mine becomes painful depending on my running activity.

I have the same thing. Did you find a solution. My orthopedic just gave me cortisone shot and it wore off in a couple weeks
