What’s the best way to use Trainer Road to train for target races? Tapering down, or ramping up etc etc.
I had a coach years ago, and he did all the work for me and I didn’t think much about it. Now that I don’t have a coach… what’s the best way to use TR?
I love TR! So if you’re in the middle of a training plan, then add an event… I notice nothing changes. Save to say one needs to insert the dates prior to putting plan on calendar?

Plan Builder does not make adjustments for events added after the fact, at least not yet.
If you add or change dates of events, then you will want to re-build your plan from the beginning, back-dating your start date to the date that you started training.
So basically, you will want to:
Delete your Plan Builder Plan by clicking the plan’s start annotation, and selecting “delete”
Then, go through the Plan Builder process again, with the start date as the date you started training. You will be able to pull in all the events that you had added on your previous plan to make this process easier.
