Verdugo - So if I backpedaled some of the 6 sec sprints in 3 of the 8 2-min intervals, how would I best answer the post workout survey? I would say after my adjustments, it felt “very hard”, but then I used some tricks to get through them, so maybe max? I think it’s my recent stress level–I’ve missed a few workouts and have lots going on, so it’s not the fault of the workout, just my current state.
Any thoughts on whether it’s just better to try and hit the targets even if the Erg mode wins before you finish, or try and lower the intensity and still get 8 hard intervals in? I’m thinking the latter, at least tonight when I wasn’t in the mood for a break through workout.
My Di2 was out of juice, or I would have turned off Erg to be able to do something between the high spikes and 0 watts.
Imo for shorter stuff that is hard make it hard, in a perfect world the workout target would be correct every time but it’s not so you should learn to pace them to what you can do on the day.
