Anne Haug out after a flat early during the bike. Changes a lot!
Marjolain is on fire right now.
As an ex long distance triathlete ( yes im that old) and long time cyclist it still just blows my mind that they would pull out with a flat.

Want to be a downer but Lucy and Anne out is … depressing.
I’m trying to think of it as race drama - it throws the race dynamic - certainly transforms the chances for Phillip and Sodaro. then the swim levelled some of the field unexpectedly…could be anyone’s but.

Yes, I’m happy with that given the loss of the favourites. Obvs a second Brit win would have been great, but social media had given me lots of sympathy for Phillips so I’m really pleased for her 
It was a huge effort from Laura on the bike, and a huge effort Kat to hold Laura for the first lap - well outside her wheelhouse. I kind of assumed Chelsea would take Kat after the hamstring cramp so the superhuman efforts must’ve continued. Laura never looked like cracking, dream day for her.
