Indoor Training with Garmin head unit

Hi there

Is there any way to just use my Garmin (Edge etc.) to do an Indoor workout from Trainerroad. I figured out to connect my indoor trainer (a Tacx Modell) and do an outside workout indoors. But can I push an indoor workout to Garmin connect?

This how I do all my training, because I use my phone to cast films to my TV.
Just mark your trainer road work outs as outside, sync your Garmin head unit, than choose indoor mode on Garmin head unit when you pick the work out. I find my Garmin controls my turbo better than my phone ever did

You should be able to push a workout to your head unit and do your workouts on your trainer indoors that way. Here are instructions that might be useful:

Unfortunately, you can’t push an indoor workout to Garmin Connect.

You need to recreate the workout in something like TrainingPeaks.

Thank you @cbandyxxx and @ZackeryWeimer. That’s how i did a test ride this morning. Works fine and good. Would be very nice from TR if you can push the inside workout to Garmin. To get more the graphic feeling like using TR on a other digital device. Kind of a luxury problem.
