Posted this in power match experiences… but figured I’d try a separate thread as well.
Question for the group. I’m using a Kickr Core and Favero Assioma Duos with power match enabled.
I know not to expect perfect smoothness with the Assiomas, but just polling folks to see if the below vicissitudes are reasonable. It’s a bit frustrating that the average targets for the interval are off by about 6-8 watts in a 15 minute interval in erg mode (they always seem to read low–never high). I’d expect that for short intervals maybe, but I’d figure the average would balance out over 15 minutes. Also seems strange to bounce from around by 70ish watts between some of the readings. Any thoughts?

Have you contacted TR support to review this? They have access to far more background data and related power meter references that might help answer your question.
Thanks Chad – yeah, I’ve contacted them in the past and tried out their suggestions to no avail. At this point, I’m more trying to figure out if it might be a bad pair of pedals or if this is just something folks live with (which is not the end of the world). I’ve had the same results on 2 different trainers (both Cores) so I’ve sort of ruled that out.
My only thought is that somehow only one pedal is reporting. If you’ve contacted TR support, this has likely already been ruled out.
When I switched from the Assioma Uno to Duo, that did smooth things out a little bit. But still, I don’t think things were quite as noisy as you’re showing here.
