Changed out the stem and usually run Stinger Disk / Stinger 9 wheels but had the Jets on for this photo. Over this winter am converting it to SRAM wireless and have cockpit parts to try hands high position.

So is anyone already using or just jump on the latest round of Wattshop’s extension offerings? Looks like they sold out pretty quick.
Nice to see some other Shiv TT’s on this thread…mine is one of the original ones w/ the nosecone. She may be old, but there aren’t many faster out there.
Bit of a crazy build - Cervelo P2 with Oval A900 forks (the ones with the holes in the legs!), USE Tula bars (the ones with the weird inline brake levers!), Hed3 Tri Spoke. Now has an ISM saddle replacing the Fizik…but will be getting rid of the whole lot soon as not ridden nearly enough this year!

This is my Shiv. I changed group to Ultegra di2, wheels to Prime 60mm with Hope hubs, tyres to Schwalbe One 25mm tubeless, cranks to 165mm, chainrings to 53/39, base bar to shiv carbon, stem to the one that comes on the s-works, extensions to 3T ski bend. Since the pic I’ve jettisoned the fuelcell and fuelselage and instead gone with x-lab versa BTA and Dark Speed Works bento. I keep tools and spares in a keg in one of the BTS cages.
In the works are an aero bottle/cage for downtube to put gel/water mix in and angled elbow pads and extensions for high hands position.
BTW the fuelcell and fuselage are horrible designs that couldn’t have been properly tested. I spent quite a bit of time trying to optimize them. If you’re in the same boat just throw them out and go for an after market option.
Would like any tips on good aero bottle/cage combo and a cheap way to get the angled elbow pads and extensions. Not fussed if extensions are alloy TIA
I actually bought a nosecone setup off eBay with the intent of trying to make it work on the newer non-nosecone Shiv TT, but eventually gave up and figure the effort wouldn’t be worth the gains. I love the look of the nosecone Shiv though
Hah…I’ve actually thought about doing the opposite!!! The nosecone, while fast, makes travelling with it a real PITA.
Both efforts would require getting a new fork…for the nosecone version, the brakes are mounted inside the cone, while for the newer version, the brake is mounted on the fork. I don’t know if the actual shape of the frame changed…but that would be a critical issue since the tolerances between the cone and the frame are so tight. Thinking about it further, my guess is that it would be almost impossible to put a nosecone on a newer frame design, but don’t know for certain.
The good news is that both versions are damn fast. I like the new disc brake design as well, but at $14K that is WAY outside the realm of possibilities.
Best thing about those bikes is that they were long and low…and that is the primary reason I still have it. It is difficult finding a bike that fits my position.
Yeah, the setup I bought came with the nosecone, nosecone fork, and non-UCI seatpost. I got the parts all on, but once it came time to route the front brake cable I just got frustrated and reverted back to the stock parts. I don’t understand what they were thinking with that design.
