Max watts/duration calculator

There are lots of cool running calculators where you can enter a duration and distance and it will give you the equivalent at basically all running distances.

Is there some calculator where i can put in say 11 minutes at 305 watts and it will tell me how many watts i can do for 20 minutes?
(to pace an FTP test on the road)

Everyone’s power curve will be different, but I just looked and there’s a 5% difference btwn my 10 minute power PR and my 20 minute power PR, and then no drop at all to my 30 minute power PR

You might want to look into the Critical Power model.

Yes and no.
No off a single known time and wattage.
Yes If you do a Critical Power test, 3 - 4 test points, you can then extrapolate what watts you can hold for various durations, or just read it off you power curve.

P(D) = ((d/D) ^ 0.1) x P(d) where P(D) is power for a duration D and d is another duration. For durations > 3 minutes.

Eg P(20) = ((11/20) ^ 0.1) x P(11)
=> predicted 20 minute power = (0.55 ^ 0.1) x 305
=> predicted 20 minute power = 287W

i ended up doing 300
the 11min effort was not really a max pace for the duration though.

Don’t talk 300W down! :clap::clap::clap:
